A snoot is a photographers' lighting tool that wraps around a strobe head, restricting light to a desired area. The size of this area of light is determined by snoot length, opening size, and distance to subject.

A simple, versatile new design for photography...
|
|
The Zoot Snoot is designed to be a flexible and versatile tool that is quick and simple to use. Zoot Snoot stretches snugly over your flash head without hook and loop (velcro) fasteners or adapters. (Not for use with continuous, or other high temperature lighting.) The Zoot Snoot design is unique. By rolling back one end of the snoot, the length is easily changed. The Zoot Snoot's flexibility allows restricting the size of the opening, by closing off part of the open end. Even the differences in the light fall off of black lined and white lined snoots can be taken advantage of...by turning the Zoot Snoot inside out. Zoot Snoot is 9 inches long and comes in 2 widths. Refer to our sizing chart for proper fit. Patent pending.

Construction: Made of durable, machine washable neoprene with nylon covering. Strong, fused seam runs the length of the snoot. At full length, a built-in grip strip helps keep the snoot in place. A buttonhole offers a way to clip the snoot to a bag or other equipment. |
Creasing: Neoprene will form temporary creases when folded or compressed for long periods. This does not effect the utility of your snoot. However, if you wish to avoid creasing, we recommend storing the snoot uncompressed, and clip it through the buttonhole to the outside of your bag or lightstand between assignments. |
